[新聞]世界羽聯發表聲明: 不曾要求關閉世錦賽決賽時空調

　世界羽聯(BWF)稍早對媒體發出聲明, 澄清有關中國新華社報導, 本屆王老吉世界羽球錦標賽男子決賽時關閉空調是出自 BWF 的要求與授意, 且世錦賽組委會及中國羽毛球協會都向 BWF 澄清, 沒有對任何媒體發表"BWF 要求關閉空調"的聲明。

　以下是 BWF 關於王老吉世界羽球錦標賽男子決賽空調問題的聲明:

　"近來有許多關於上週日在中國廣州舉行的王老吉世界錦標賽男單決賽時空調狀態的詢問及評論。

　在決賽當天的傍晚, (天河)體育館內的溫度一直在上升, 但是在男單決賽時氣溫上升的情況尤其顯著。

　世界羽聯當天曾在男單決賽比賽中及比賽後詢問有關空調系統的狀態。組委會向 BWF 確認在決賽當天, 場內空調系統不曾關閉, 但是空調系統的溫度從當天一早就是設定在低速運轉, 然而由於決賽當天進場的人數增加, 特別是男子決賽時, (觀眾人數更多), 使得場內的溫度升高, 造成感覺燥熱。

　BWF 並沒有在(世錦賽)要求調整空調, 而世錦賽組委會及中國羽毛球協會也對 BWF 說明, 他們沒有對任何媒體做出 'BWF 下令要求關閉空調'的聲明。"

BWF STATEMENT RE. AIR-CONDITIONING LEVELS DURING THE WANG LAO JI BWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS MEN’S SINGLES FINAL

    “There have been a number of questions and comments pertaining to the state of the air conditioner during the Men’s Singles final of the Wang Lao Ji BWF World Championship last Sunday in Guangzhou, China.

    During the Finals, the temperature in the venue rose throughout the evening, but it was particularly noted during the Men’s Singles finals.

    BWF enquired about the operation of the air conditioner during the Men’s Singles final and also post-tournament. The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has confirmed to the BWF that the air conditioner in the venue was not turned off at any time during the finals, but that the air conditioner was set on low from the beginning of the day (Sunday). However, due to the increase in the number of spectators attending on finals day – and in particular during the Men’s Singles match – the temperature went up and the venue became hotter.

    BWF did not request any changes to the air-conditioning levels and the LOC and CBA have stated to BWF that no official announcement from either organization has been to media that BWF ordered changes to the air-conditioning levels.
